Just finished reading: Bringing Up BeBe by Pamela Druckerman. An interesting read comparing & contrasting French and American parenting. I liked reading it after just having finished Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, because the French parent and the Chinese parent have very different approaches to child-rearing. Towards the end, I think the book got a bit repetitive. The last 30 pages were pretty superfluous. I loved that the book was full of anecdotes, though. Would recommend for  parents or those interested in childcare. 

• never eat out without your parents
• never go shopping
• take zero vacations (unless you’re parents are paying
• avoid “going out for drinks”
• paint your own damn nails
• pluck the brows, you can’t afford no $10 waxing 
• apply for all the jobs

Just finished reading: Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother by Amy Chua. Quick,  interesting read. Made me think of how I was raised and I how intend to raise my children. Thought provoking!
